Built in the late Tang Dynasty and relocated as the Confucian Temple during the Northern Song Dynasty, it was later rebuilt in the seventh year of the Shaoxing period of the Southern Song Dynasty. It is a group of buildings that integrate architectural forms from the Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties, with a grand scale and a rich cultural connotation, making it one of the largest Confucian temple architectural complexes in the southeast region of China.
