Introduction

Qingyuan Mountain is the only 5A-level scenic spot in Quanzhou and a landmark attraction of the city. The most famous landmark on the mountain is Laojun Rock, which is carved with a lifelike statue of Laozi and has a history of over a thousand years. It is the largest, most exquisite, and oldest Taoist stone carving statue in existence in China. In the scenic area, visitors can also admire Master Hongyi's Pagoda, which reflects the deep connection between the pagoda and Minnan culture. The Pagoda houses the tear ink works of the famous muralist, Feng Zikai, and in front of the Pagoda, one can see the master's "Intersection of Joy and Sorrow" ink left behind before his death. In addition to enjoying the scenery and hiking, Qingyuan Mountain also offers unique culinary experiences. Drinking tea in the mountains and enjoying delicious food at the summit is an unforgettable experience during your travels.
