Introduction

The Hai Zhong Chang Cheng, built by Qi Jiguang, is located in Bohai, 5 kilometers south of Shanhaiguan City. It was built during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty and is the most unique section of the Ming Great Wall. The entire Great Wall is like a giant dragon, with the east end inserted into the sea, resembling a raised dragon head. It is not only the starting point of the Ming Great Wall, but also known as the Old Dragon Head. It is composed of Ninghai City, Ruhai Stone City, Chenghai Tower, Nanhaikou Pass, and the Sea God Temple, among which Chenghai Tower is the highlight on the dragon head. Here, you can overlook the vast sea, feel the magnificent scenery, enjoy the fresh air, soft sand, and flat beach, and it is also one of the best places to watch the sunrise.
