Introduction
There are many arcade buildings on streets such as Xinhua Road, Zhongshan Road, and Changdi Road in Haikou, and these buildings have a history of more than 90 years. They are places with historical and cultural significance. There are over 600 buildings of varying sizes and heights, mostly built in the South Asian style to showcase the culture of the overseas Chinese who returned to Japan in the last century. Victory Sand Road is the largest clothing wholesale market in Hainan, while Xinhua South Road has traditional tailors, low-cost clothing, shoes and hat stores, snack bars, and tea houses. Zhongshan Road has many cafes, galleries, and craft shops, while Boai Road has many small shops selling appliances and small goods, surrounded by many snack bars.
