Introduction

The Three Gorges Waterfall is a national 5A-level scenic spot located less than 20 kilometers from the central urban area of Yichang. It is the core scenic area of the "Western Hubei Ecological Culture Tourism Circle" and a must-see place for exploring Shennongjia. This scenic spot, known as the "Number One Waterfall in the Three Gorges," is famous for its green mountains, beautiful waters, amazing caves, and stunning waterfalls, and has won the titles of "Top Ten Scenic Spots in Yichang" and "The Most Popular Primitive Ecological Scenic Spot" for many years. In 2011, the Three Gorges Waterfall was voted one of the "Top Ten Famous Waterfalls in China." Tourists can enjoy magical landscapes such as the "Book of Cambrian," "Five Peaches for Longevity," "Turtle Welcomes Guests," "Fantastic Calligraphy," "Earth's Annual Rings," and "Scripture Cave" along the approximately 5-kilometer-long canyon walkway. The most spectacular is the White Mulberry Tree Waterfall, approximately 102 meters high and 80 meters wide. Tourists can experience the excitement and joy of "passing through" the waterfall at close range. In 2011, the scenic area added the Wildman Valley, which features unique canyon streams and group waterfalls and allows tourists to enjoy a cool climate. Most importantly, the unique natural scenery of the Four-Level Flying Waterfalls at the end of the Wildman Valley can only be seen by hiking, making it a one-of-a-kind attraction in Three Gorges tourism.
