Introduction

This national 5A scenic spot is well-known for its Duan water, ancient temples, and secluded valley waterfalls. It has been praised as the "Penglai of the sea" as early as the Han Dynasty. The scenic area includes Xuedou Mountain, Xuedou Temple (one of the top ten Buddhist temples in the world), and the world's highest sitting bronze Maitreya Buddha statue. Standing on the observation platform of Qianzhangyan Waterfall, you can only see the dense trees, which is a true natural oxygen bar.

Public Transportation 1. Take Bus No. 570 or No. 596 to Xuedou Temple (bus stop) and walk to the destination. 2. Take a long-distance bus to Xikou. Visitors from various cities need to take a bus to the Ningbo South Bus Station and then take a shuttle bus to Xikou. If there is a long-distance bus to Fenghua from the original station, you can first go to Fenghua Bus Station and then take a shuttle bus to Xikou.
