Introduction

The Hundred Step Cloud Ladder is located on the steep cliff at the northwest foothill of the Lotus Peak. It is a dangerous and steep orange path that consists of over a hundred cut steps. When viewed from the opposite side of Ao Yu Cave, the path leads to the abyss and looks like a long ladder leaning against the cliff, often shrouded in clouds and mist. It is considered extremely dangerous and is therefore known as the "Hundred Step Cloud Ladder". Near the exit, there are two parallel giant rocks, one resembling a turtle and the other a snake, guarding the entrance of the ladder, hence the name "Turtle Snake Guards the Cloud Ladder."
