Introduction
Guangmingding is not the martial arts scenic spot described in the novel "The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber", but a place located on the second highest peak of Huangshan, with an altitude of 1860 meters. The name "Guangming" comes from its vast and sunny view. From here, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the East Sea, the peaks of the West Sea, as well as famous peaks like Tiandu, Lianhua, and Aoyu. The Huangshan Meteorological Station is also located here, which is the best observation point for watching the sunrise and sea of clouds in Huangshan, and also the highest-altitude meteorological station in East China. Although Guangmingding is not included in the 36 peaks of Huangshan, ancient people regarded it as the crown of the peaks, and thus included it above the 36 peaks. Transportation Located near the Huangshan Baiyun Hotel, most tourists would first arrive at Baiyun Hotel as a transit station, then walk south to reach Guangmingding.
