Introduction

This is a large tomb chamber in the Qin Shi Huang Mausoleum complex, which houses China's largest ancient military museum based on the terracotta warriors and horses. The museum is divided into three pits, with pit one consisting of the main force of chariots and infantry, containing approximately 6,000 life-size terracotta soldiers and horses. Pit two features a mix of chariots, cavalry, and crossbowmen, while pit three is an important part of the military command system. The unearthed terracotta warriors have different roles such as generals, infantry, and charioteers, and each has unique facial expressions and features. Although they were originally painted with exquisite colors, most have faded due to fire damage and soaking. In addition, the exhibited bronze horses and chariots have high historical value. They were crafted using a large amount of gold and silver, and their exceptional workmanship has been praised as the "crown of bronze," providing significant insights into the history and academic research of the Qin Dynasty.
