Puzhehei, which gained popularity due to the shows 'Where Are We Going, Dad?' and 'Eternal Love,' is truly a treasure. Its karst landscape is unique, featuring ancient villages and simple Yi ethnic villagers. The area is dotted with rivers and lakes, with winding waterways meandering through the lush green mountains.
Fuxian Lake
The ancients used 'ten thousand acres of glass' to describe Fuxian Lake. If we were to use a modern analogy, it would be like a giant blue jelly. The crystal-clear lake water has extremely high visibility. On good weather days, the lake surface glistens, and the water is free of any impurities. While boating, you can listen to its ancient legends and unsolved mysteries.
The most attractive aspect of Bingzhongluo is its beauty throughout all four seasons. No matter when you visit this small place, it always brings surprises. In spring, enjoy the wildflowers; in summer, admire the rivers; in autumn, stroll through the countryside; and in winter, observe the snowy landscapes. Following the Grand Canyon north along the Nujiang River, you can walk on the ancient Tea Horse Road, see the roaring Nujiang River in the sheer cliffs and gorges, the tranquil and serene village houses in the fields, the dense primeval forests, and the majestic and magnificent snow-capped mountains.
Hani Terraces
The 45th World Heritage Site in China. Known as 'China's most beautiful mountain carving.' The Yuanyang Hani Terraces are famous for two things: the magnificent sunrise and sunset over the terraces, and the unique customs of the Hani villages. The Duoyishu Terraces are particularly notable for their golden clouds. Often shrouded in mist, the sunrise creates a spectacular scene with rays of light, and the clouds reflecting in the terraces, making it one of the favorite spots for photographers.
Bamei
A place where the Zhuang people live together. 'Bamei' is a transliteration from the Zhuang language, meaning 'the entrance of the forest,' a real-life version of a utopia. It is a place that can only be reached by paddling a bamboo raft through two karst caves located in front and behind the village. The Zhuang people there live a self-sufficient life, and the entire valley is the scenery they have cultivated.
Amandayan, Lijiang
Amandayan, Lijiang is situated on Lion Hill, the highest point of Dayan Ancient Town, with the World Cultural Heritage site Wenchang Palace located within its courtyard. This prime location was chosen by the hotel owner while flying a private plane over Lijiang. Despite being in the ancient town, it offers a tranquil and secluded atmosphere, as if in a different world.
