Kanas Lake

Nalati Grassland
Located within the territory of Xinyuan County in Ili Prefecture, the Nalati Grassland is a subalpine meadow plant area, one of the four major grasslands in the world. It has been a famous pasture since ancient times. The area features intertwined rivers, dense forests, gently rolling plains, pine cones standing along the valleys, scattered yurts, and moving herds.
Formerly known as 'Yaochi', it is a crescent-shaped lake on the north side of Bogda Peak in the Tianshan Mountains. The lake water is as crystal clear as jade, reflecting Bogda Peak. Surrounded by mountains, the area is covered with tall, verdant spruces and pines. The scenery is like a fairyland.
Baihaba Village
Located on the border river between China and Kazakhstan, it is the village with the highest concentration of Tuvan people in the Altay region of Xinjiang, known as the 'First Village of Western China'. It is picturesque all year round, especially in autumn. The golden poplar leaves, the pale yellow larch, and the freely flowing golden hues surround the mountain village, making it look like a fairy tale world.

Flaming Mountains
In Uyghur, it is called 'Kiziltag', meaning 'Red Mountain'. The Flaming Mountains are barren and desolate, with not a blade of grass growing. During the height of summer, the scorching sun hangs high in the sky, the ground steams, and fiery clouds swirl around, resembling a soaring fire dragon, creating a spectacular sight.

Keketuohai Scenic Area and Keketuohai National Geopark combine beautiful canyon river scenery, marshland landscapes, frigid lakes, geological and mineral resources, and other natural sights.
