Introduction

Hemu Village is located in Burqin County, Altay area of northern Xinjiang, about 30 kilometers from the east side of Kanas Lake. It is a settlement for Kazakhs and Tuwas, with all houses built with logs, retaining the original primitive style. The most charming part of Hemu Village is the colorful scenery in autumn, with smokes curling around, which is intoxicating. Photography enthusiasts like to climb the mountain platform near Hemu Village in the early morning to shoot misty scenes, and most of the panoramic views of Hemu Village are also taken from here.

Hemu Village is located in Burqin County, Altay Region, Northern Xinjiang, about 30 kilometers east of Kanas Lake. The methods of entry into Hemu Village are on foot or via an internal shuttle bus (private cars are not allowed to enter). How to get to Jia Dengyu? 1. There is a direct bus from Burqin Bus Station to Hemu Village, which takes 4 and a half hours. There is a place called Hemu Mountain Villa within the scenic area, where you can take a car to Jia Dengyu (about 50 yuan) without leaving the scenic area and without taking the shuttle bus. The main road from Jia Dengyu Ticket Station to Hemu Village Ticket Station is about 50 kilometers. For specific departure times and prices, please contact 0906-6327808 (Kanas Scenic Area Ticket Station). 2. On foot: It is one of China's top ten classic hiking routes. Starting from Jia Dengyu, you can find a guide or rent a horse, and follow the dirt road all the way to Hemu Village. It takes about 35 kilometers and 1-2 days, with elevation ranging from 1004m to 1523m. There are accommodations along the way, and the path is mostly flat horse trails with little difficulty, except for the long distance.
