Utah ski resorts and ski resorts

From December to mid-April each year, Utah is one of the world's best skiing areas, but there are also many summer adventure activities here. Within an hour's drive from Salt Lake City International Airport, there are 9 ski resorts with an average annual snowfall of over 13 meters, making it ideal for various adventure activities. Visitors staying in Salt Lake City can easily access resorts such as Alta, Snowbird, Brighton, and Solitude via public transportation, and there is also a free shuttle bus between Park City and Brian Head.

Wasatch Mountain Range

The Ski Utah Interconnect Tour offers skiing enthusiasts the opportunity to experience the beautiful scenery of the Wasatch Mountain Range. From December to March each year, weather permitting, the resorts of Deer Valley, Park City, Solitude, Brighton, Alta, and Snowbird are open daily. Each tour group is accompanied by two guides who are trained in ski safety and wilderness skills. This tour route does not include snowboarding. Participants must be advanced or expert skiers aged 16 and over, in good physical condition, and capable of handling various skiing conditions. The journey averages about 40 kilometers. Tickets include lunch, ski lifts, transportation, and a commemorative badge.

Soldier Hollow

Soldier Hollow ski resort and tubing area features charming cross-country ski trails, specifically built for winter biathlon competitions and the 2002 Winter Olympics. From May to November, visitors can enjoy mountain biking, horseback riding, and golfing. The Soldier Hollow Grill within the resort offers top-notch cuisine and service, along with stunning views of the surrounding snow-capped mountains. Soldier Hollow is located in Midway, in the middle of Heber Valley, with many nearby hotels including Zermatt Resort and Homestead Resort.

Snowbird Resort

Join the Snowbird Resort Gondola tour at an altitude of 880 meters and a length of 2.5 kilometers to experience the round trip to Hidden Peak. Every summer, the tourist attractions here are open to the public daily. Snowbird Resort is located at the foot of the mountain and offers a variety of accommodation options, including the Cliff Lodge with world-class spa treatments, as well as shopping and dining options, and outdoor swimming pools and hot tubs. You can explore the area by hiking and mountain biking. The resort can be visited by bus or private car from Salt Lake City starting from Canyon City.

Brian Head Resort

Visit Brian Head Resort on summer weekends to experience thrilling activities such as zip-lining, chair lifts, and extreme trampolines. You can also enjoy rock climbing and snow tubing at Giant Steps. If you visit from mid-June to mid-September on Fridays and Saturdays, you can savor the steakhouse cuisine on the terrace of the two-story Grand Lodge while taking in the resort's beautiful scenery. The hotel features a day spa and an indoor cascading pool. There is also the Cedar Breaks Lodge, which offers a day spa, two restaurants and bars, an indoor pool, and rooms equipped with kitchenettes.
