Kashgar Grand Bazaar
The full name is the Central and Western Asia International Trade Market, also known as the East Gate Bazaar. It is divided into sections by types of goods. In the souvenir section, you can find Adeles silk, flower hats, Yingjisha knives, dried fruits, handicrafts, and more. You can also find imported handicrafts from places like Pakistan, Turkey, and India. The perimeter of the bazaar is filled with food stalls offering a variety of Xinjiang delicacies, mostly meat-based. It's a great place to take a break when you're tired from shopping, and the food here is authentic and delicious.
Huangdi Township Cattle and Sheep Bazaar
This is the large livestock trading market in Huangdi Township, located north of Kashgar city. Locals call it the 'Cattle and Sheep Bazaar'. Every Sunday, it becomes as lively as a carnival. There are many dining establishments around the perimeter, and the roasted buns at the entrance are huge and very popular among locals. You should give them a try.
