Weinan Heyang - Yellow River Wetland Scenery & Home of the Book of Songs Cultural

Located in the northeastern part of the Guanzhong region in Shaanxi Province, on the west bank of the Yellow River, Qia Chuan is the largest lake wetland scenic area in the Yellow River Basin in China. It is situated on the banks of the Yellow River, 20 kilometers away from Heyang County in Shaanxi Province, with a total area of ​​165 square kilometers. With its Thousand-eyed Spring, Ten Thousand Mu Reed Marsh, Thousand Birds and Hundred Birds, Ten Li Lotus Pond, and One Water Yellow River, it showcases the beautiful scenery of the Qin and Jin dynasties. The western part of the scenic area features a unique and magnificent landscape of loess peaks, created by the forces of nature.

Fushan

Fushan, located at the entrance of the Chachuan Scenic Area, is described as 'a peak standing tall, surrounded by green pines.' The terrain of Fushan is very unique; the entire mountain resembles a scorpion with its tail raised, lying in the valley. Locals also call it 'Scorpion Mountain.' The ancient architectural complex composed of the mountain gate, archway, and pavilions is compact and well-arranged. Visitors walk the 'Fu Road,' enter the 'Fu Gate,' climb the 'Fu Tower,' and seek blessings, creating a continuous flow of tourists.

Soul of the Yellow River

'Soul of the Yellow River' is located at the northern end of the Qiachuan Scenic Area. It is a national-level water conservancy scenic area and a national agricultural tourism demonstration scenic area, relying on the grand Yellow Soil Water Diversion Project, which is the largest in Asia.

Huanghe Bay Tourism Theme Park

Located in the southern part of the Qiachuan Scenic Area, Huanghe Bay covers an area of 8 square kilometers and is one of the key national scenic spots in Qiachuan. The area is flat, the Yellow River wetland is well-preserved, with lush reeds, abundant aquatic plants, and interlaced lakes. More than 20 species of rare birds, including cranes, white cranes, wild ducks, swans, and mandarin ducks, inhabit this area, offering a picturesque rural landscape.

Heyang Confucian Temple

The existing architectural complex includes two buildings: the Confucian Temple and the Academy. Currently, it consists of the Dacheng Hall with five rooms, the Minglun Hall with five rooms, the Zunjing Pavilion with three rooms, two rooms in the corridor, and fifty-four rooms on both sides, covering an area of 6,750 square meters. It is the largest and best-preserved ancient architectural complex in Heyang and is a provincial key cultural relic protection unit.
