Yaoshan Scenic Area
Yaoshan is known for its unique peaks, numerous waterfalls, dense forests, excellent hot springs, and splendid cultural landscapes. It combines grandeur, danger, beauty, uniqueness, and tranquility. The area is divided into ten parts: Donglingtan, Shifeiyuzhang, Sancha Junction, Bailongtan, Banxianju, Shiren, Jiguan Rock, Bainiu City, Secret Cave, and Hot Springs. Experts have praised it for having the danger of Huashan, the steepness of Emei, the beauty of Zhangjiajie, and the elegance of Huangshan. It is an excellent place for sightseeing, summer retreats, convalescence, scientific research, and adventure. The towering cliffs, sculpted peaks, and bizarre rocks are major features of Yaoshan's natural scenery.
Shiren Mountain Scenic Area
The name is derived from its unique peaks, numerous waterfalls, dense forests, high-quality hot spring water, and beautiful cultural landscapes. Shiren Mountain was historically known as Yao Mountain, named after Yao's grandson Liu Lei who built a temple to honor his ancestor. During the Spring and Autumn period, the great thinker and social activist Mozi descended to the foot of Yao Mountain, where the ruins of Mozi's hometown still exist. The peaks of Shiren Mountain are majestic and spectacular, with a sea of clouds drifting around, presenting various shapes that resemble characters and paintings. Ancient pines and cypresses, extraordinary waterfalls, and diverse landscapes can be found everywhere, making it a place of scenic beauty throughout the four seasons.
Zhongyuan Buddha Scenic Area
Located 50 kilometers west of Lushan County, at the end of the Zhengzhou to Yaoshan Expressway, where it intersects with National Highway 311, the Zhongyuan Buddha Scenic Area boasts convenient transportation, surrounded by mountains, beautiful landscapes, and a pleasant environment. It is rich in tourism and cultural resources, including the world's largest Buddha, the largest bell, the mainland's top hot spring, and the first temple in the Funiu Mountain area. It is a comprehensive tourist destination that integrates Buddhist culture, hot spring bathing, sightseeing, and leisure entertainment, and is the leading scenic area for ecological tourism in the Funiu Mountains of Henan.
Huamei Valley
Huamei Valley is named due to the large number of thrush birds that inhabit and breed here. The scenic area features unique peaks and rocks, clear streams and emerald pools, serene gorges and beautiful waterfalls, stone caves, lake surfaces, sea of clouds, red leaves, mountain flowers, wild fruits, medicinal herbs, rare birds and animals, and primeval forests, forming a complete landscape system.
Sansu Garden
Sansu Garden Scenic Area is located 27 kilometers west of Jiaxian County, at the eastern foot of Mount Emei. It backs onto Songyang and faces the Ruo River, with beautiful mountains and rivers and pleasant scenery. To date, it has been nearly 900 years since the great literary figures of the Song Dynasty, Su Shi, Su Zhe, and their father Su Xun, were buried here in their official attire.
