Jinji Peak Scenic Area
This is the most beautiful place to see rapeseed flowers. It is located in the northeast direction of the county town, along Route 324 and then Route 10. After crossing Wangchengpo, a solitary peak suddenly rises on the flat ground, which is the Jinji Peak Cluster. This is the so-called Luoping Basin, which is relatively flat, while in the distance there are solitary peaks standing out, making it a 'business card' scenic spot of Luoping. The tourist attraction is located next to the highway, with a large parking lot, making self-driving tours very convenient.
Niujie
In Niujie of Luoping, about 10 kilometers from the county town, this place is called Jiulong Town. Locals are accustomed to using the ancient name Niujie to refer to it. The rapeseed flowers here are planted in terraced fields. When viewed from the mountain, the terraces circle around the mountain like a snail, hence the terraces here are also called Snail Fields. The Golden Rooster Peak and the rapeseed flower fields have completely different styles. The Golden Rooster Peak gives a grand and magnificent feeling, while this place is delicate and exquisite. The best time to visit is in the afternoon.
Shiwan Dashan Scenic Area
The area near Shiwan Dashan is the main venue for the Luoping Canola Flower Festival. Located southeast of the county town, you can walk along the Dashuijing to the banks of the Duoyi River. This canola flower field is flat and wide, surrounded by an endless sea of golden flowers, making it ideal for television broadcasts. Whether viewed from a helicopter or illuminated by spotlights, it creates an unparalleled brilliant atmosphere. The canola flower terraces in the mountains here are quite impressive, and it's also a good spot for sunrise photography. However, for general photographers, although the sea of flowers here is pure in color, the layers are somewhat monotonous.
