Qunxian Building - School History Gallery
This building is located near the west gate of Xiamen University and is the first comprehensive building since the establishment of the university. The Minnan-style dougong roof showcases a blend of Chinese and Western architectural styles in a Western-style building. The marble colonnade in front of the building is long and narrow, with several colonnades lined up in succession, creating an interesting contrast with the towering red doors inside the building. The walking space created is especially suitable for photography.
Furong Lake
Located in the core area of Xiamen University, Furong Lake and Song'en Building are undoubtedly the favorite photo spots for tourists. The vast lake surface complements the Song'en Building in the background. A photo with the tallest building on campus in front of Furong Lake has also become a must-take picture for visitors to Xiamen University. To capture a panoramic view of the Song'en Building, one needs to stand by the lake. Furong Lake is not large, and it takes only 10 minutes to walk around it.
The auditorium hosts the graduation ceremonies of Xiamen University students and is also a building with Western-style architecture.
Lover's Valley
Sit for a while on the boardwalk by the lake, enjoy the coolness of the lakeside, or wander between the trestle bridge and the pavilion. The pleasant environment also attracts many couples, giving Siyuan Valley the nickname 'Lover's Valley'.
At Xiamen University, Furong Tunnel is the most distinctive attraction. The one-kilometer-long tunnel is lined with creative graffiti artworks. Generations of Xiamen University students have left their youthful memories here. This photo captures numerous young stories and moments. Not only on the walls, but the narrow tunnel is also cool in the summer, making it a great place to rest and cool off.
Xiaofeng Bookstore
Not just a bookstore by name, the creators aim to craft not merely a bookstore, but a new interpretation of the reading lifestyle. Designed by a Japanese master designer, the bookstore features a minimalist style. The bookshelves are differentiated and connected by various shapes such as arches, allowing readers to easily navigate between different areas and neatly separate various books.
