Zhenhai Cape
Zhenhai Cape is surrounded by the sea on three sides and backed by green mountains. Standing on the reef, you can enjoy a 270° unbeatable sea view and feel the gentle sea breeze of the Pacific Ocean. Here stands the largest lighthouse in East China, reminiscent of Kenting, where you can effortlessly take many fresh and artistic photos. It is common to see cattle and sheep grazing on the lush lawns. You can camp here, have a picnic, swing, and enjoy the romantic atmosphere.
Volcano Island
Volcano Island is China's only marine landform volcanic geological park. The island features a geological museum known as the 'Monument Valley' of China, where you can take artistic photos without traveling to Spain. Every corner of the island is perfect for photography, with Bali-style hot air balloons, swings, hanging rings, and infinity pools. All the Instagram-worthy elements are here, making it a hotspot for social media photos! Dongshan Island is the filming location of the movie 'The Left Ear'. The waves crash against the rocks, creating charming splashes. It has a 'Bolivia on the sea' called Jinluan Bay. During low tide, the sea and sky merge into one, with a mirror-like surface and beach that are mesmerizing. There is also an 'Italian-style' colorful fishing village here, with vibrant houses and simple villagers, making you feel like you are walking into a postcard. If you are driving, you must visit the most beautiful coastal road, Sufeng Mountain. The blue road bridge winds along the mountains, and it is incredibly beautiful!
More distinctive than Yongding, Yunshuiyao Ancient Town is the filming location for the movies 'Big Fish & Begonia' and 'Yunshuiyao'. The Fujian Tulou here are well-preserved with exquisite craftsmanship. The ancient town features a thousand-year-old banyan tree cluster, gently flowing streams, and a row of century-old houses and ancient streets, resembling a paradise. One would only wish to stay here for a night.
Nanjing Tulou is a national 5A scenic area. The tulou are built along the mountains, arranged one after another, forming a large and unique cluster of tulou. The entire scene is breathtakingly beautiful. When you come here, you must visit the oldest round tulou 'Yuchang Lou', the most typical Hakka village 'Taxia Village', and the most peculiar tulou 'Four Dishes and One Soup'. You can deeply experience the tulou culture.
Zhangzhou Ancient City
Zhangzhou Ancient City is a microcosm of old Zhangzhou. The ancient streets and old buildings here are very simple, yet they exude a strong Minnan (Southern Fujian) charm. There are many memory museums in the ancient city that tell the history and culture of Zhangzhou, which are worth experiencing in detail. Daimei Ancient Village
Daimei Village is the largest and best-preserved ancient waterfront residential area in Longhai City. As you walk into the ancient village, you will be amazed by the clusters of red brick and white tile buildings with swallowtail eaves. There is a gently flowing inner river in the village, tightly surrounding the settlement, creating a vivid picture of a small, charming waterside town. You can take a boat ride on the river, feeling as if you have entered a Minnan version of Venice.
