The rooms are filled with Tibetan cultural elements, and from the windows, you can see the magical Shangri-La Grand Canyon and the Gangqu River scenery. There is a large square outside the hotel where you can enjoy Tibetan songs and dances performed by local Tibetans and experience the enthusiasm of a bonfire party in the evening.
Shangri-La Balagezong Snow Mountain Pilgrimage Wellness Manor
This manor hotel is located in Bala Village, facing the Snow Mountain Ice Spring Wellness Manor from afar. Therefore, they share the same starry sky. If you are a starry sky enthusiast and also a hedonist, this hotel is a good choice! In terms of scenery, it faces the Gezhong Snow Mountain; in terms of facilities, the overall decoration and layout are similar to the Ice Spring Wellness Hotel, both featuring Tibetan style. However, the Snow Mountain Pilgrimage Wellness Manor has an additional family room. When we passed by, the housekeeper took us to visit it, and it was full of childlike fun! It is located within the Balagezong Scenic Area, near Bala Zhuomalakang and Bala Village.
Shangri-La Balagezong Snow Mountain Ice Spring Wellness Manor
This manor hotel is the residence of Balagezong's ancestor, Sna Dorje, located within the scenic area at an altitude of over 3000 meters. It is backed by the Tibetan sacred mountain, Gezhong Snow Mountain, and overlooks Bala Village. A 5-minute drive will take you to the Tibetan Culture Exhibition Center - Bala Zhuomalakang. Within the Balagezong Scenic Area, it is close to Bala Zhuomalakang and Bala Village. Because the hotel is backed by the snow mountain, there is basically no sunlight after 2 PM, and the best time for photography is in the morning.
