Binjiangdao Commercial Street
Binjiangdao Commercial Street is one of the busiest commercial streets in Tianjin. In the late 1920s, with the rise of commerce around Quanyechang, both domestic and foreign merchants flocked to this street. Many clothing and silk shops, gold and silver jewelry stores, watch and eyewear shops, photography and laundry services, as well as hotels, cinemas, theaters, and dance halls were established here, gradually making the street bustling. Today, this pedestrian commercial street not only features old brands like Quanyechang, Zhongyuan Company, Daoxiangcun Food Store, Hendry Watch Shop, Guangming Cinema, and Dengyinglou Restaurant, but also newly built shopping centers, making it an essential commercial street to visit in Tianjin.
