Which lanes on the 10 Freeway in LA use FasTrak? I heard all CA expresslanes are electronic tolls. If the rental car doesn't have this, how do I avoid getting a ticket ?

Within 48 hours, open www.thetollroads.com, click 'pay a one-time-toll now' and follow the steps to complete the payment.

I suggest you confirm directly at the store, their method will be more accurate. I remember that AVIS and BUDGET's cars are equipped with electronic toll payment system (E-TOLL).

You can check the situation of toll roads and pay fines at the following website https://www.thetollroads.com. Some roads will charge for a specific lane, so be careful.

Yes, as long as you don't use the toll lanes, you won't be charged. If you do use them, you must have a fastrak automatic payment card. It is said that if you have a fastrak and there are more than 2 people in the car, you won't be charged either because it is a carpool lane, but you must have a fastrak card.

Follow-up, is Route 10 not a toll road? It should only be 1 to 2 lanes that require payment. As long as you don't take those lanes, you won't be charged, right?
