Can anyone who has driven to Stonehenge tell me which road goes past it and I can take photos on the side of the road ?

All the cars go slow there and there will be traffic jams.
I saw a road to the east of Stonehenge, where many cars parked, you can walk into Stonehenge, outside the fence, but I do not know how to get to that road, you had better look at Google Maps.
Viewed from the outside, one can only see the surface; seen from a distance, one can only get a rough idea. If one has the time, it is still advisable to go in and appreciate it in detail, for the feeling is completely different.
Just came out of Stonehenge A360

Yes, there is a stretch of road where you can see for free.
Just navigate to Stonehenge. It's on the way. You can take pictures, but it's too far.
