Excuse me, can I ask: in the UK, parking meters do not accept coins or foreign credit cards (my visa card is from China), only local cards. What should we do if we drive there in the future ?

Don't worry, coins can be used in most cases, while credit cards cannot be used in some cases. If you cannot use either, just change to another parking lot. Remember to take your credit card if you use it, otherwise it may be stolen.
This is about the parking lot. Some of them accept international credit cards. Once I swiped twice, I found their manager and ended up being charged only once.
Bring several domestic credit cards with you, my multi-currency international card from China Merchants Bank can be used.
