From Phillip Island to Mornington Peninsula, the ferry cannot carry vehicles. You need to drive from Phillip Island to Sorrento and take a car ferry to Queenscliffe, then get on the Great Ocean Road. The minimum fee for each vehicle is more than 100 Australian dollars, which is not less than the distance driven by road and takes longer, neither economical nor worthwhile. Option 1: Road trip by car Option 2: Ferry Taking a ferry can save 40 kilometers, but you need to buy tickets and spend at least one and a half more hours.
