The road is very narrow, with only two lanes. There are a lot of oncoming cars, but as long as you drive slowly, it's no problem.

The weather on Skye is all about luck. If it's windy and rainy, it will be very cold. I was there last week and the climate was nice. I wore short-sleeved T-shirts the whole time.

The road conditions are very good. The British A82 basically drive at 80-100 km/h, and the two-lane road is very narrow. When overtaking at high speed, there is less than half a meter, which is very refreshing. If you drive slowly, you will be pressed by a group of cars behind you and be anxious. A9 is equivalent to a highway, basically driving at more than 100 km/h, and it is common to see 150 km/h passing by.
