From Seattle to Glacier National Park does not pass Missoula. From the west gate of Glacier National Park to Yellowstone National Park, you can pass Missoula. But it is recommended to exit from the east gate, because the main scenic spots are all to the east of the Sun Avenue Loop, and there is no need to return to the west gate. It takes about 7 hours to go to Yellowstone from the west gate, and you can stop in Helena, the capital of Montana, or Bozeman, one hour's drive from the north gate of Yellowstone.
