Just to clarify, when it says there is a fee to drive on the internal roads of a national park, does that mean you have to buy a ticket? Are there any other tolls or fees? Thank you, everyone ?

The roads within the national park are free. If it is the Grand Canyon National Park in Colorado, it is recommended to park at one of the four parking lots near the visitors center, and then take the free sightseeing bus provided by the park to the scenic spots, because the deeper you go, the harder it is to park. Go early, otherwise you won't be able to find a parking space anywhere.
National parks only require entrance fees; there are no internal fees.
