It's in time for glacier hiking in the morning, Pukaki and Tekapo lakes at noon, and salmon can be eaten. In the afternoon, there are popular cafes and shepherds' churches. In the evening, there are stargazing activities at Lake Tekapo... but glacier hiking will be affected by the weather. If you must hike, it is recommended to reserve a backup time in the morning the next day, or arrange for more relaxed activities the next day. We will have glacier hiking in the morning the next day, and will drive from Cook to Christchurch at around noon the next day.
