After the Queenstown tour, start in the morning from Queenstown, play in Wanaka in the afternoon, and stay in Tekapo at night. Drive to the Franz Josef Glacier for a hike the next day and then drive back to Tekapo. Is this route reasonable ?

Tecapo must have been difficult to get to in the past

If you just want to visit Kowara Ka tree, you can. But the schedule for climbing Roys Peak is a bit tight and tiring. In addition, when you arrive at Lake Tekapo, most supermarkets and restaurants are closed. You either need to eat well before you get there or bring ingredients to cook. If you also need to return to Mount Cook, don't stay in Tekapo. Stay in Te Anau. The hotels there are more affordable, the city is bigger, and it takes 45 minutes to get to Mount Cook. Then go down to Tekapo. Otherwise, you will waste time and fuel by going back the same way.

Reasonable, Tekapo is suitable for quietness and viewing the milky way

Cook Mountain can stay one night, the itinerary will be leisurely
