Introduction

The Fitzwilliam Museum is an art and archaeology museum established by the University of Cambridge in 1816 and funded by Sir Richard Fitzwilliam from Ireland. The museum's collection is extensive, featuring artifacts from ancient Egypt, Sudan, Greece, Rome, and other regions and eras, with the Persia polis reliefs being particularly famous. Sundays and Bank Holidays Mondays: 12:00-17:00
Closed from December 24th to 26th and January 1st.

The museum is 500 meters away from the center of Cambridge, and you can take the Uni 4 Bus to get off at the museum's door.
