Introduction

On July 5th, 2012, The Shard, the tallest building in Europe, was designed by Italian architect Renzo Piano. It took 12 years to construct, with 88 floors and a height of 310 meters, towering over London's skyline. This building has become a new landmark in London and attracted much attention. In 2015, the British Tourism Board held the "#OMGB (Oh My Great Britain) Destinations" naming activity, and the public generally liked the name "The Shard" also recognized this name.
