Introduction

Teatro Greco is a U-shaped theater, built in the 3rd century BC, located in Sicily and is the second largest theater in Sicily after Syracuse. Due to its unique location suspended between the sea and the sky, it has become one of the most distinctive Greek theaters in the world. Every summer, Teatro Greco becomes the venue for the Taormina Arts Festival.
