Introduction

The National Museum of Delhi is located on the central south side of New Delhi's Parliament Avenue. It is one of the largest comprehensive cultural museums in India and was proposed by India's former Prime Minister Nehru. The building has three floors and houses precious historical artifacts from different regions, showcasing ancient Indian handicrafts, bronze, pottery, sculptures, and other artworks. It also houses collections of Buddhist and Hindu art, textiles, and ancient coins. In addition, the museum also has some precious foreign artifacts, including Dunhuang paintings from Gansu and religious objects from Tibet.
