Introduction

The lavender farm in Furano is one of the most popular attractions in the area. The farm is famous for its colorful fields of lavender and various other flower varieties. At the entrance of the farm, you can taste local specialties such as sweet melon, honey pudding, lavender pudding, and melon and lavender flavored ice cream, and relax and enjoy the food at long tables and chairs. The farm also has a gift shop selling Furano specialties made from lavender, such as dried flowers, essential oils, perfumes, cosmetics, and lavender pillows. Although the lavender season is only from July to early August, even during the off-season, the farm cultivates other ornamental plants to provide visual enjoyment for visitors. If time allows, you can also visit another farm in Furano called Kamifurano Farm (also known as Lavender East), which is also worth a visit.
