Introduction

Hokkaido Pioneer Village takes you back to 100 years ago in Hokkaido, allowing you to experience its unique atmosphere. This outdoor museum consists of four areas, including a market street and fishing village, with over 50 buildings that have been relocated and restored. These buildings were built during the Meiji and early Showa periods, documenting the history of Hokkaido. You can enter the buildings and experience the lifestyle of the people in Hokkaido during that time, and also try riding the streetcar (costs 270 yen per ride) to experience the transportation of that era.
