Introduction

Mt. Moiwa is located southwest of Sapporo City, about a 20-minute drive from the city center. It is one of the best spots to enjoy the views of Sapporo and its famous night scenery, often referred to as one of the top three night views in Hokkaido. Standing at an elevation of 531 meters, the summit offers a panoramic view of the entire city. The large observation deck at the top underwent renovations in 2011 and now features a variety of Japanese and French cuisine restaurants. While savoring delicious food, visitors can also admire the stunning beauty of Sapporo. Additionally, there is a happiness bell on the observation deck. Ringing the bell while enjoying the night view is believed to bring happiness.
