Introduction

The Talazhu Temple, located in Duba Square, is a magnificent 16th-century building with a tower over 35 meters high. It is dedicated to the Talazhu Goddess of South India. The temple was built by the king of that time, and the Talazhu Goddess is revered as the guardian deity of the royal family. However, the temple is not open to the public, and only local Hindus are allowed to enter and worship during the annual Dashain festival in October.
