Introduction

The Guan Yu Temple, originally located on the Xie Jia Mountain, was destroyed during the Japanese invasion of China. Now, with the approval of the National Cultural Heritage Administration and the Hubei Provincial People's Government, the temple has been rebuilt while retaining the local architectural style of the Ming and Qing dynasties, and is filled with rich cultural connotations. The Guan Yu Temple is the creator of multiple "firsts" in the country and is known as the number one Guan Yu Temple in the world. It is the preferred holy site for Chinese people to worship Guan Yu, and it is an ideal tourist attraction for both domestic and foreign visitors.
