Introduction

The Kinoshita warehouse was originally built in 1909 as a storage warehouse for materials in the port of Hakodate, using a European-style brick and stone structure. Similar to the storage buildings in Otaru, this warehouse shows exquisite architectural craftsmanship. Today, after renovation, the Kinoshita warehouse has become the most famous tourist shopping area in Hakodate, with several souvenir shops and restaurants. It is an ideal place for photography and shopping.
