Introduction

The natural arch on the island of Gozo is a must-see destination with astonishing natural beauty. Millennia ago, the collapse of two large limestone formations formed this magical structure, attracting climbers from all over the world to challenge their limits (although this is illegal). This attraction has also gained attention for appearing in the popular TV show "Game of Thrones." However, due to the passage of time and continuous limestone erosion, this famous natural arch has become unstable and its perfect elliptical shape has been severely damaged. The destination manager warned visitors before March 8, 2017, that if they wanted to see this sight, they must do so soon. However, the destination manager later regretfully informed everyone that due to erosion from the sea and strong winds, the Blue Window has collapsed and the permanent disappearance of this attraction is very regrettable.
