Iolani Palace is located in Honolulu, Hawaii, United States. It is a European-style palace built by King Kalakaua of the Hawaiian Kingdom in 1879. It is the only royal palace still existing in the United States. Currently, Iolani Palace is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is part of America's national historical heritage.
