Introduction

Mauna Kea volcano on the Big Island of Hawaii reaches a height of 4,207 meters and is one of the volcanoes that snows in winter. It is over 10,000 meters tall from the bottom of the sea, ranking among the highest peaks in the world. The most famous attraction is the Mauna Kea Observatory at the summit. However, the road to the saddle is very difficult, and most car rental companies prohibit vehicles from going there. Nevertheless, you can choose to join a tour and ride in a specialized vehicle to smoothly reach the volcanic crater at the top and enjoy the magnificent view.
