Introduction
Huangshi Fort, also known as Huangshi Village, is located in the middle of the Forest Park. It was named after Master Zhang Liang's Huangshi Gong practiced alchemy here. Huangshi Fort, which is 1080 meters above sea level, is made of quartz sandstone. It has a beautiful and towering peak with layers of mountains. It has the characteristics of Danxia Mountain peaks, the charm of the Colorado Mountains in the United States, and the embellishment of dense Wuling pines. It is magnificent, beautiful, and profound. The famous attractions of this scenic area are concentrated together, especially the top of Huangshi Fort, which is open and flat, surrounded by cliffs and steep cliffs. It is the most spectacular aerial viewing platform in Zhangjiajie. From the observation deck, you can overlook famous attractions such as "The First Gate of the World," "The Heavenly Book Box," "The Divine Needle of Ding Mountain," "The Black Mulberry Brain," and "The Southern Pillar of Heaven." It is one of the most representative essences in the national forest park scenic area. The "Six Strange Tower" observation deck on the top of the fort is new and magnificent. In front of the left of the "Six Strange Tower," there is an extended viewing platform called the "Star-Picking Platform." Huangshi Fort has two pedestrian climbing trails in the north and south or you can take a cable car to the summit in 10 minutes. Opening hours 07:00-17:30 (all day)
