Introduction

The Tianzi Mountain is located in the northern part of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, adjacent to the Suoxiyu Scenic Area. The mountain was named after the Ming dynasty leader of the Tujia ethnic group, "Xiang Wang Tianzi". The highest point of Tianzi Mountain is about 1262.5 meters above sea level, while the lowest point is about 534 meters above sea level. Visitors can enjoy the four major scenic spots of clouds, moonlit nights, sunrises and winter snow. Billions of years ago, Tianzi Mountain was once a vast ocean, and after complex and lengthy geological changes, unique geological landscapes such as the Yubi Peak were formed.
