Diner is a Western restaurant that has been around in Qingdao for a long time. There are four locations in Qingdao, and I love this one in particular. It has outdoor seating with a view of the sea. The menu changes based on seasonal ingredients, so there's always something new to try. It's a popular spot among foreign visitors and will never disappoint you. Recommended dishes include steak and gourmet hamburgers.

Coffee is definitely delicious. It's an absolute gem of a shop - their passion fruit soda is only 20 yuan, the salad is only 28 yuan, and the cakes are made by the shop itself - every time you go, there's a different cake. The decor is Nordic minimalist style, perfect for taking photos.

Chen Xiaochun's shop. Prices are on the expensive side, but Hong Kong-style tea restaurants are not cheap to begin with. I believe Chen Xiaochun will definitely bring us the most authentic experience. Love to eat clear soup with beef brisket.

Delicious hotpot dumplings
The famous old-brand wonton. I like to eat a combination of egg yolk and preserved duck egg, and the ones with sea intestines and shrimp are more well-known. Around 20 yuan per person.
Wonderful noodle house
The storefront is small, the shop is a bit old, it can be considered a humble eatery. The featured dishes are Sichuan-style spicy intestines noodles and braised beef noodles, served with pickled radish. Average cost per person is 25.

East Town Spicy Hotpot
This is the main store. There are several branches, but I like the one in Taidong the most. Anyway, there's always a queue during meal times, no difference.
1907 Film Club
Includes German-style restaurant, café, private cinema. Great place for taking photos! It's also nice to wander inside. Recommended dishes: German roasted pork knuckle set, crispy on the outside and tender inside. The waitstaff will considerately let you take photos, then take it away and slice it for easy consumption. It seems to be around 200 RMB.

Zhao's beef hotpot
Several branches, but this one is the best. There's usually a long queue by 11:30 am. If you come late in the evening, they might be sold out. The half tendon and half beef tripe hot pot are delicious, available in large and small portions.
Handmade noodles by a skilled person
I ordered a bowl of family beef and tripe soup noodles. It's affordable and comes with lots of meat. It costs 22 yuan per bowl, which is most likely the price in the restaurant.
Old Chef Beer House
It's really a beerhouse that only people from Qingdao go to. I don't know what to film, the dishes don't look good, but they taste really delicious...fried belt fish, fried meat, grilled meat, seafood processing. It's packed by 6 o'clock, mostly with neighbors. Mix some cold noodles, have a couple of drinks.
Stinky tofu in Xizhen
Tendon meat, tenderloin, chicken hearts, streaky pork, kidney... The meat is all in large pieces. If you're from the south, you can order 2 skewers of each type and try more varieties. During meal times, the queue starts at half an hour, so it's recommended to come outside of meal times.
Wang Ji Xi Zhen Barbecue
Open at ten o'clock, don't think about anything else, just come and queue peacefully. After eating and leaving, look at this even longer queue...
