The Qingdao Beer Museum is located in the old factory building of the Qingdao Beer Brewery, which was built a hundred years ago. The red-colored Western-style houses are very distinctive, and the roof on the side facing the road is decorated with a large and eye-catching beer barrel. Here, you can learn about the history of Qingdao Beer, see the old equipment used to produce beer, and even taste authentic Qingdao Beer.
To promote Qingdao's beer culture, the Qingdao government has decided to transform Dengzhou Road into Beer Street, which is the road in front of the former site of Qingdao Brewery (No. 56 Dengzhou Road). Dengzhou Road is a historical street where the century-old heritage of Tsingtao Beer began. The Beer Street runs from Yan'an Second Road in the east to Guangrao Road in the west, with a total length of nearly 1000 meters. It highlights the beer characteristics by establishing specialty beer bars, opening a beer museum, and setting up cultural and leisure facilities. The buildings along the street have been renovated and illuminated in European style, and the decorations of the shops on both sides of the road are integrated with the whole street. The most eye-catching feature is the color of the road- green, making it the first colored road in the province. Currently, there are beer restaurants available on Beer Street.
