Qingdao City Boutique Tourism Routes, A Glimpse of Famous Scenic Spots at Home and Abroad (Part 2)

Qingdao is a tourist destination in China. It has a coastline of 863 kilometers, with 49 bays, 69 islands, winding rivers, and interconnected capes. It belongs to the temperate monsoon region and is known for its maritime climate. Qingdao is renowned as a famous tourist resort, leisure destination, and business conference venue. The city is known for its "red tiles, green trees, blue sea, and blue sky" urban landscape, and the Eight Great Passes are a "classic of international architecture," while Mount Lao is the foremost "famous coastal mountain."

Lu Xun Park is a scenic area that combines garden beauty with natural beauty, with the charm of "when the road ends, there is a cliff, and another scene bends at the riverside."
Located at No. 2 Laiyang Road, Qingdao Underwater World consists of three main parts: intertidal zone, underwater tunnel, and a four-story underground observation deck. The display area is all built underground. The intertidal zone is 35 meters long, and the underwater tunnel is 86.2 meters long and 2.5 meters wide. The arch shape of the glass in the tunnel is formed by combining various forms such as traditional 180-degree angle, 254-degree wide angle, 360-degree pillar-shaped water, and window-style glass.

Qingdao's number one beach for swimming in the sea

Located in Huiquan Bay, Qingdao's First Seaside Bathing Beach has a sandy beach that is over 580 meters long and more than 40 meters wide. Surrounded by mountains on three sides, with lush trees, modern high-rise buildings and traditional villas cleverly integrated, the scenery is very beautiful. The water in the bay is clear, the beach is gently sloping, and the sand is fine and soft, making it an ideal natural condition for a bathing beach. The opening time of the beach is generally from July 1st to September 25th each year. During bathing hours, the beach provides services such as changing clothes, showering, storage, lifesaving, and medical assistance. Admission is free during opening hours, except for changing clothes and showering.
Located at No. 23 Nanhai Road, adjacent to the First Bathing Beach, it is the former site of the "Prinz Heinrich Hotel". This hotel was jointly built in 1903 by German businessmen and bankers and was the highest-grade hotel in the East Asian region at that time. It was also the predecessor of the Qingdao Hotel Association. In 1912, Sun Yat-sen stayed at the Seaside Hotel during his visit to Qingdao. It is now a national key cultural heritage site.
The Eight Great Passes is the landmark in Qingdao that best represents the features of "red tiles, green trees, blue sea, and blue sky". "Eight Great Passes" refers to eight roads (now increased to ten), which are named after the famous ancient passes and gates in China. They are Zijingguan Road, Ningwuguan Road, and Shaoguan Road. These three roads are connected to the west and east of Hong Kong, and are connected to Wushengguan Road, Jiayuguan Road, Hanguanguan Road, Zhengyangguan Road, Linhuaiguan Road, Juyongguan Road, and Shanhaiguan Road, forming a multi-mile circular landscape.
The Second Bathing Beach of Qingdao can be seen from the window of Huashilou. Located in the Tai Ping Bay, it is also known as the "Tai Ping Jiao Bathing Beach". It is adjacent to Shanhaiguan Road Seaside Park, with a quiet environment and beautiful scenery.
