Introduction

The Kouri Bridge is an important bridge connecting Kouri Island in Nago City to Yagaji Island in Nakijin Village, built in 2005. With a length of 1960 meters, it is the longest free passage bridge in Japan. Prior to its construction, locals could only travel between the two islands by boat. From the entrance of the bridge, it is located right in the center of the beautiful ocean, which is breathtaking. Walking on the Kouri Bridge, visitors will see the emerald green ocean and the blue sky up close, as if they are walking on a road to heaven.
