American Village is a comprehensive cultural and commercial facility built on the site of an old US military base. It used to serve nearby US military personnel and their families as a commercial district, but now it has become a distinctive urban leisure area with entertainment facilities featuring 3D imagery as the main attractions, shopping centers, cinemas, restaurants, and sports facilities. From architecture to shops, and even the products being sold, they all have a strong sense of design and exude the American free spirit. Popular attractions include the graffiti walls by the beach and the Ferris wheel, with the Coca-Cola logo being the biggest feature of the Ferris wheel. It is a romantic place for couples and offers a panoramic view of the American Village. There are also beaches and barbecue areas, and it is a famous spot for watching the sunset. Stroll along the long breakwater, and you may occasionally encounter couples taking wedding photos. It is recommended to plan a visit to the American Village in the afternoon, as half a day is enough time to explore the various shops in the village. You can also enjoy the beautiful sunset and experience the romance of the Ferris wheel in the glow of the setting sun. If you plan to stay in the American Village overnight, The Beach Tower Okinawa, located by the Sunset Beach, is a good choice.

Ferris wheel is one of the most popular attractions in America Village, with Coca-Cola being its biggest emblem that can be seen from afar. It is a romantic spot that couples must visit. The Ferris wheel slowly ascends, and from the highest point, you can enjoy a panoramic view of America Village, making it a great place for taking photos. It is also one of the filming locations for the movie "In the Mood for Love". In an interview, Leslie Cheung recalled shooting scenes here, but unfortunately, those scenes were never officially shown in the movie.

Okinawa Children's Kingdom is located in Okinawa City, north of Naha, and has three facilities: Nature Land, Wonder Museum, and Children's Center.
Nature Land is the southernmost zoo in Japan, with about 130 different species of animals. The zoo is built on a hill and is not very large, but there are many interactive activities with animals, such as feeding giraffes.
The restaurant is located at the entrance of the park, with affordable prices but average taste.
The Wonder Museum is a pleasant surprise. Inside the museum, you can play and learn while experiencing artworks and installations designed by domestic and international artists. Although the primary target audience is children, the cleverly designed and easily understandable displays make science principles interesting and lively. If you have the time, it is highly recommended to spend a day here with your children.
